Secondhand Goods Dealers
(Amendment) Rules 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Secondhand Goods Dealers (Amendment) Rules 2021 and come into operation on 2 February 2021.
Amendment of rule 7
2.  Rule 7(1) of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting sub‑paragraph (c) and substituting the following sub‑paragraph:
“(c)with respect to any item purchased by him falling within the description of item 9, 10 or 11 of the Schedule to the Act — the weight of the item;”.
Deletion of rule 9
3.  Rule 9 of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Rules is deleted.
