Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2 (1) (paragraphs (a)(ii) and (b)(ii) of the definition of “futures contract”) and 341 of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2007 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 30th August 2007.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Item 6 in the Schedule to the Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 368/2005) is deleted and the following item substituted therefor:

“6. ICE Futures Europe (formerly known as “ICE Futures”)”.
