Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 (1)(b)(ii) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2006 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 23rd August 2006.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 507/2004) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 4, 14, 16, 37, 41, 42, 48, 74, 80, 91, 95, 99, 116 and 122;

(b)

by deleting the words “Caldecott Publishing Pte Ltd” in the second column of item 47 and substituting the words “MediaCorp Publishing Pte Ltd”;

(c)

by deleting the words “Xin Qiu Wang” in the first column of item 126 and substituting the words “The New Soccer King”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 129, the following item:
