Public Entertainments and Meetings (Security)
(Amendment) Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Security) (Amendment) Notification 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 January 2015.

Amendment of paragraph 1

2. Paragraph 1 of the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Security) Notification (N 1) (referred to in this Notification as the principal Notification) is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “(Security)”, the words “(Public Entertainment Licensing Officer)”.

Amendment of paragraph 2

3. Paragraph 2 of the principal Notification is amended by inserting, immediately before the words “Licensing Officer”, the words “Public Entertainment”.

Amendment of Schedule

4. Item (2) of the Schedule to the principal Notification is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “dancing”, the words “regulated by the Public Entertainment Licensing Officer under the Act”.
