Medical Registration Act

Medical Registration Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Order 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Medical Registration Act, the Minister for Health, after consultation with the Singapore Medical Council, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Medical Registration Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Order 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2006.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Medical Registration Act is amended —
(a)by deleting “MBBS” under the heading “Primary Qualifications” in items 1 to 4 and 6 to 10 relating to the country “Australia” and substituting in each case “MB BS”;
(b)by inserting, immediately after item 7 relating to the country “Canada”, the following items:
