Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2006.

Amendment of rule 3

2. Rule 3(3) of the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) Rules (R 14) is amended by deleting the words “, a private hire car” in sub-paragraph (d).

Amendment of rule 4

3. Rule 4(2) of the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) Rules is amended —

(a)	by inserting, at the end of sub-paragraph (b), the word “or”;
(b)	by deleting the word “; or” at the end of sub-paragraph (c)(ii) and substituting a full-stop; and
