Fire Safety Act
(Chapter 109A)
Fire Safety (Registered Inspectors) (Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61(1)(zab) of the Fire Safety Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Fire Safety (Registered Inspectors) (Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2004.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Fire Safety (Registered Inspectors) (Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics) Regulations (Rg 8, 2004 Ed.) is amended —
(a)by deleting the comma at the end of paragraph 1(b) and substituting a full-stop;
(b)by deleting the words “and its derivatives such as “publicise”, “publicised” and “publicising” shall be construed accordingly.” in paragraph 1;
(c)by deleting sub-paragraph (8) of paragraph 4;
(d)by deleting sub-paragraphs (2) and (3) of paragraph 5; and
(e)by renumbering the existing sub-paragraph (4) of paragraph 5 as sub-paragraph (2) of that paragraph.
