Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics
(Exemption) (Amendment No. 2)
Regulations 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 and 22(1) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2012 and shall come into operation on 12th July 2012.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Regulations 2011 (G.N. No. S 110/2011) is amended by deleting the full-stop at the end of item 7, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

8.	Any community health centre, that is to say, a medical clinic in which only services in support of any treatment by a medical practitioner (such as services rendered by any health professional other than a medical practitioner) are provided for the management of any chronic illness or disability

Regulation 10(1)(c) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Regulations

12th March 2012

Conditions stated in the licence for the medical clinic.
