Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Vocational Licences and Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and Passengers) (Amendment) Rules 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Vocational Licences and Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and Passengers) (Amendment) Rules 2007 and shall come into operation on 30th March 2007.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Vocational Licences and Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and Passengers) Rules (R 8) is amended by deleting the words “, taxi stand and trishaw stand” in the definition of “public stand” and substituting the words “and taxi stand”.

Deletion of rules 29, 32, 34, 35 and 37

3. Rules 29, 32, 34, 35 and 37 of the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Vocational Licences and Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and Passengers) Rules are deleted.
