Fisheries (Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18(2) of the Fisheries Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Fisheries (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 1 April 2019.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Fisheries (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 9) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “Director” and substituting the word “Director‑General”;
(b)	by deleting the words “section 20(1)” and substituting the words “section 18(1)”;
(c)	by deleting the words “section 14” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “section 12”;
(d)	by deleting the words “except the Fisheries (Piranha) Rules” in paragraph (b); and
(e)	by deleting the marginal reference “R 3.” in paragraph (b).
