Road Traffic (Electronic Service) (Amendment) Rules 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Electronic Service) (Amendment) Rules 2010 and shall come into operation on 25th January 2010.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Part I of the Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Service) Rules 2006 (G.N. No. S 121/2006) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 33, the following items:

Application for re-registration of private motor car, business service passenger vehicle or off-peak car as new scheme off-peak car

Application for re-registration of
off-peak car as private motor car or business service passenger vehicle

33F(1)

”;

(b)

by deleting item 38 and substituting the following item:

Application to keep de-registered vehicle in designated area

34A(2)

”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 39, the following items:

Application for, or notification of, (as the case may be) extension of period for keeping de-registered vehicle in designated area or alternative area

34A(3B)

Application to further extend period for keeping de-registered vehicle in designated area or alternative area

34A(3D)

”;

(d)

by deleting the words “55(1) and (2)” in item 46 under the heading “Applicable rule of R 5” and substituting the words “55(1) and (3)”;

(e)

by deleting “55(4)” in item 47 under the heading “Applicable rule of R 5” and substituting “55(8)”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item 47, the following item:
