Road Traffic Act
(Chapter 276)
Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 119 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2005.
Amendment of rule 7
2.  Rule 7(5) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33) is amended by deleting the words “parallel white lines” and substituting the words “parallel, continuous or broken white lines”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  Part III of the Schedule to the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules is amended ––
(a)by deleting diagram 140 (a) and substituting the following diagram:
UNKNOWN
(b)by deleting diagram 140 (e) and substituting the following diagram:
UNKNOWN
(c)by deleting diagram 145 and substituting the following diagram:
UNKNOWN
