Charities
(Composition of Offences) (Amendment)
Regulations 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Charities Act, the MG (NS) Chan Chun Sing, Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Charities (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2011.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Charities (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 7) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the word “offences”, the words “(other than continuing offences)”;

(b)

by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(a)	an offence under section 5(6), 8(3) or (8), 14(5), 18, 25(12), 28(1), 39A(2), 39B(2) or 41A(7) of the Act;”;

(c)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (d); and

(d)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (e) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(f)	an offence under regulation 5(1) or (2)(a) of the Charities (Accounts and Annual Report) Regulations 2011 (G.N. No. S 352/2011).”.
