(Amendment) Rules 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 82A(14) and 91(1) of the Legal Profession Act and all other powers enabling us under any written law, we, the Rules Committee, make the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Legal Profession (Disciplinary Tribunal) (Amendment) Rules 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.
Miscellaneous amendments
2.  The Legal Profession (Disciplinary Tribunal) Rules (R 2) are amended —
(a)by deleting the words “Judge of the Supreme Court, Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court, Senior Judge of the Supreme Court or International Judge of the Supreme Court” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “Supreme Court Judge, Judicial Commissioner, Senior Judge or International Judge”:
Rule 2(1) (paragraph (b) of the definition of “complainant”)
Rule 2(1) (paragraphs (a)(i) and (aa)(i) of the definition of “complaint”); and
(b)by deleting the words “Judge of the Supreme Court” in the following provision and substituting in each case the words “Supreme Court Judge”:
Rule 4(1) and (3).
