Restriction of Speed (Roads) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Restriction of Speed (Roads) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st June 1998.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Restriction of Speed (Roads) Notification (N 6) is amended by inserting, immediately after the item relating to Yishun Avenue 2, the following items:

“Jalan Bahar Road.

Lim Chu Kang Road.

Gambas Avenue.

Queensway — that part of Queensway between Holland Road and Commonwealth Road.

Thomson Road — that part of Thomson Road between Thomson flyover and Marymount Road.

Marine Parade Road — that part of Marine Parade Road between Bedok South Avenue 1 and Telok Kurau Road.

Yio Chu Kang Road — that part of Yio Chu Kang Road between Hougang Avenue 2 and Jalan Woodbridge.

Clementi Avenue 6 — that part of Clementi Avenue 6 between Commonwealth Avenue West and trumpet interchange.

Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 — that part of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 between Yio Chu Kang Road and the Central Expressway.”.
