Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 2)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2018 and, except for paragraph 2(c), is deemed to have come into operation on 14 September 2017.

(2) Paragraph 2(c) comes into operation on 18 June 2018.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 15 and substituting the following item:

“15.	MWS Bethany Nursing Home — Choa Chu Kang”;

(b)

by deleting item 119 and substituting the following item:

“119.

MWS Home Care”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 138, the following item:

“139.

Anglican Senior Centre (Hillview)”.
