Central Provident Fund (Revised Minimum Sum
Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consultation with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Revised Minimum Sum Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1998.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

2. The Fourth Schedule to the Central Provident Fund (Revised Minimum Sum Scheme) Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by deleting item (j) and substituting the following items:

“(j)

On or after 1st July 2002 but before 1st July 2003

$291

(k)

On or after 1st July 2003

$297”.
