Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Rules 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(2) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Central Provident Fund Board hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Rules 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2005.

Amendment of rule 9

2. Rule 9 of the Central Provident Fund Rules (R 3) is amended by deleting the words “at the Board’s main office or” in paragraph (a).

Amendment of rule 10

3. Rule 10(2) of the Central Provident Fund Rules is amended by deleting the words “at the Board’s main office or”.
