Muslim Marriage and Divorce (Amendment) Rules 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 145 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act, the President of Singapore hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Muslim Marriage and Divorce (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into operation on 2nd January 2003.

Amendment of Third Schedule

2. Part I of the Third Schedule to the Muslim Marriage and Divorce Rules (R 1) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 29, the following item:

“

30. Change of details of a solemnization or particulars of any witness at a solemnization

$15

”.
