Central Provident Fund (Approved Housing Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1)(h) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Approved Housing Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall come into operation on 15th June 2007.

Amendment of regulation 14A

2. Regulation 14A(9) of the Central Provident Fund (Approved Housing Schemes) Regulations (Rg 12) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “private lender”, the following definition:

“ “proceeds”, in relation to any house or flat, means the consideration for the sale, transfer, assignment or disposal of the house or flat, or, if the Board so elects, the value of the house or flat at the time of the sale, transfer, assignment or disposal as assessed by the Board;”.
