Regulation of Imports and Exports (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Education, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2003 and shall be deemed to come into operation on 26th June 2003.
Amendment of Third Schedule
2.  The Third Schedule to the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting the country “The Republic of Iraq.”.
Amendment of Fourth Schedule
3.  The Fourth Schedule to the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the country “Sierra Leone” and the entries relating thereto, the following country and entries:
The Republic of Iraq
(1) Arms and related materials of all types, including —
 
(a) weapons;
 
(b) ammunition;
 
(c) military vehicles;
 
(d) military equipment; and
 
(e) paramilitary equipment.
 
(2) Spare parts of any item falling under paragraph (1).
