Town Councils Act
(Chapter 329A)
Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment Into Sinking Funds) (Amendment) Rules 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33 (5) and 51 of the Town Councils Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment into Sinking Funds) (Amendment) Rules 1999 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 8th February 1999.
Amendment of rule 2
2.  Rule 2 of the Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment into Sinking Funds) Rules (R 2) is amended by deleting the words ", market and food centres and for other" in the 4th and 5th lines and substituting the words "and for".
Amendment of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment into Sinking Funds) Rules is amended —
(a)by deleting the words "Shop with living accommodation" in the first column of item 7 and substituting the words "Commercial property"; and
(b)by deleting items 8, 9 and 10.
