The following Act was passed by Parliament on 25th August 1994 and assented to by the President on 14th September 1994:—

An Act to amend the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act (Chapter 67 of the 1985 Revised Edition).

Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:

Short title and commencement

1. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) (Amendment) Act 1994 and shall come into operation on 21st October 1994.

Amendment of section 1

2. Section 1 of the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act is amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following subsection:

“(2) This Act shall continue in force for a period of 5 years from 21st October 1994.”.
