Parking Places Act
Chapter 214
Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment) Order 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into operation on 1stSeptember 2002.
Amendment of paragraph 3
2.  Paragraph 3(2) of the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) Order 2000 (G.N. No. S 441/2000) (referred to in this Order as the principal Order) is amended by deleting the words “$55 per month” in the 3rd line and substituting the words “$65 per month”.
Amendment of paragraph 4
3.  Paragraph 4 of the principal Order is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (a) to (d) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:

Deletion and substitution of Schedule
4.  The Schedule to the principal Order is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

(1)For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,500 kilograms —
(a)Mondays to Saturdays:
(i)$1 per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
(ii)50 cents per half hour or part thereof (between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. the following day).
(b)Sundays and Public Holidays:
 
50 cents per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m. the following day).

Parking Charges:
(1)For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,500 kilograms —
(a)50 cents per half hour or part thereof.
(b)$4 per day.
(c)$80 per month.
(2)For a motor vehicle with fewer than 4 wheels and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
(a)65 cents per day.

Part xi
Parking Charges:
(1)For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,500 kilograms —
(a)50 cents per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m. the following day).
(b)$2 per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day).
(c)subject to sub-paragraph (e), $90 per month at designated covered lots.
(d)subject to sub-paragraph (f), $65 per month at designated surface lots.
(e)$110 per month at designated covered lots for any additional season parking ticket issued to a person exceeding his entitlement under such allocation criteria as determined by the Superintendent in any parking place under this Part which the Superintendent is satisfied as being congested.
(f)$80 per month at designated surface lots for any additional season parking ticket issued to a person exceeding his entitlement under such allocation criteria as determined by the Superintendent in any parking place under this Part which the Superintendent is satisfied as being congested.
(2)For a motor vehicle with fewer than 4 wheels and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
(a)65 cents per day (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
(b)65 cents per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day).
(c)$17 per month at designated covered lots.
(d)$15 per month at designated surface lots.

(a)$1.30 per day.
(b)$17 per month at designated covered lots.
(3)For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms —
(a)$2 per half hour or part thereof at designated covered lots (between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.).
(b)$1.50 per half hour or part thereof at designated surface lots (between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.).
Part xiii

(d)$65 per month (where the driver or owner of the motor car or motor vehicle is also in possession of a season parking ticket, as defined in rule 2 of the Parking Places Rules (R 2), to park a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms in that place).
(2)For a motor vehicle with fewer than 4 wheels and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
(a)65 cents per day (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
(b)65 cents per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day).
(c)$15 per month at designated surface lots.
(3)For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms —
