Public Order
(Exempt Assemblies and Processions)
(Amendment) Order 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 of the Public Order Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Public Order (Exempt Assemblies and Processions) (Amendment) Order 2017 and comes into operation on 1 June 2017.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Item 4(1) of the First Schedule to the Public Order (Exempt Assemblies and Processions) Order 2009 (G.N. No. S 489/2009) is amended by deleting the words “Public Order (Election Meetings) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 486/2009)” and substituting the words “Public Order (Election Meetings in Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 486/2009) or the Public Order (Election Meetings in Presidential Elections) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 273/2017)”.
