(Amendment No. 8) Notification 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 8) Notification 2017 and, except for paragraph 2(b), comes into operation on 1 August 2017.
(2)  Paragraph 2(b) comes into operation on 2 August 2017.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after item 133, the following item:
“134.  Ren Ci @ Ang Mo Kio (Nursing Home)”; and
(b)by inserting, immediately after item 134, the following item:
“135.  MWS Nursing Home (Yew Tee)”.
