Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Fire Safety (Designation of Premises Requiring Fire Emergency Plan) Notification.
Premises requiring fire emergency plan
2.  The Minister hereby designates the following premises to be premises in respect of which a fire emergency plan shall be provided:
(a)any public building in respect of which a fire certificate under section 20(2) of the Act or a public building certificate under regulation 3 (6) of the revoked Building Control (Public Building) Regulations (Cap. 29, Rg 11, 1990 Ed.) is issued; and
(b)any premises permitted to be used pursuant to the Planning Act (Cap. 232) or any other written law for industrial purposes that is issued with a certificate of statutory completion or a temporary occupation permit under section 21 of the Building Control Act (Cap. 29) or a certificate of fitness for occupation issued under regulations made under the repealed Building Control Act (Cap. 29, 1985 Ed.), and —
(i)has a floor area or site area of 5,000 square metres or more; or
(ii)has an occupant load of 1,000 persons or more.
