Citation
1.  These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Aljunied (Administrative Fee for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges and Licence Fees) By-laws.
Administrative fee for conservancy and service charges or licence fee in arrears
2.—(1)  Where any conservancy and service charge or licence fee payable by any tenant, owner or licensee to the Town Council of Aljunied is in arrears during any preceding 6 months, the tenant, owner or licensee shall be liable to pay to the Town Council of Alijunied an administrative fee of $50.
(2)  The tenant, owner or licensee shall not be liable to pay the administrative fee referred to in paragraph (1) more than once in respect of the same period of 6 months or part thereof.
Recovery of licence fee
3.  Nothing in these By-laws shall prejudice any right of action or other remedy of the Town Council for the recovery of any moneys due to the Town Council, in respect of any antecedent breach by the licensee, under any agreement.
Application of payment
4.  The Town Council may, in its discretion, apply any moneys paid by a tenant, owner or licensee under these By-laws firstly towards the payment of the amount of administrative fee payable under these By-laws and thereafter apply any balance of such moneys towards the amount of conservancy and service charge, licence fee or any part thereof which remains in arrears.
Remission
5.  The Town Council may, in its discretion, remit wholly or in part any administrative fee payable under these By-laws.
