13. No person shall import for sale or supply in Singapore any fresh fruit or vegetable containing —
(a)
any residue of any prohibited pesticide; or
(b)
any residue of any permitted pesticide exceeding —
(i)
the level specified in the Tenth Schedule to the Food Regulations [Cap. 283, Rg 1] in respect of that pesticide; or
(ii)
where no such specification has been made in the said Schedule in respect of any such pesticide, the level recommended by the Joint FAO /WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission in respect of that pesticide.
