(Exemption)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “3D Big Giveaway” promotion to be held from 2nd January 2013 to 24th February 2013 (both dates inclusive) (referred to in this paragraph as the relevant period) and comprising the following draws to be held at the Casino Royale Bar at Resorts World at Sentosa:

(a)	the “Daily Draws” to be held, as part of the “3D Big Giveaway” promotion, every day (except Saturdays and Sundays) during the relevant period, between 9.30 p.m. and 11 p.m.;
(b)	the “Weekly Draws” to be held, as part of the “3D Mega Lottery” promotion, every Sunday during the relevant period, between 9.30 p.m. and 11 p.m.; and
(c)	the “Finale Draw” to be held, as part of the “3D Big Giveaway” promotion, on 24th February 2013 between 9.30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
