Active Mobility
(Oasis Terraces — Exemption)
(Amendment) Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Active Mobility (Oasis Terraces — Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2021.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Active Mobility (Oasis Terraces — Exemption) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 7/2021) (called in this Order the principal Order) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “the map set out in” in the definition of “specified footpath”, the words “Part 1 of”; and

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of the definition of “specified motor vehicle” and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following definition:

“ “specified shared path” means the part of the shared path specified in item 57 of the Third Schedule to the Active Mobility (Shared Paths) Order 2018 (G.N. No. S 260/2018), and which is more particularly delineated by the black line in the map set out in Part 2 of the Schedule.”.

Amendment of paragraph 3

3. Paragraph 3 of the principal Order is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Section 16(1)(b) of the Act does not apply” and substituting the words “Sections 16(1)(b) and 17(1) of the Act do not apply”; and
(b)	by inserting, immediately after the words “on a specified footpath”, the words “or specified shared path”.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the principal Order is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
