Interpretation
(Health Sciences Authority Act — Fees)
(Amendment) Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Interpretation (Health Sciences Authority Act — Fees) (Amendment) Order 2021 and comes into operation on 1 March 2021.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Interpretation (Health Sciences Authority Act — Fees) Order 2017 (G.N. No. S 577/2017) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “Authority”, the following definition:

“ “cell, tissue or gene therapy product” means a health product categorised as a cell, tissue or gene therapy product in the First Schedule to the Health Products Act (Cap. 122D);”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Interpretation (Health Sciences Authority Act — Fees) Order 2017 is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “medical device” in the definition of “registration application requirements” in paragraph (3) of the Note, the words “or cell, tissue or gene therapy product”.
