(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 139 of the Employment Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Employment (Administrative Penalties) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. The Employment (Administrative Penalties) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 149/2016) are amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “High Court” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “General Division of the High Court”:

Regulations 3(4) and 4(1) and (2); and

(b)

by deleting the words “High Court” in the following provision and substituting the words “General Division of High Court”:

Regulation 4 (regulation heading).
