(Protection from Online Falsehoods and
Manipulation) (Amendment) Rules 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 80 of the Supreme Court of Judicature Act and all other powers enabling us under any written law, we, the Rules Committee, make the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Supreme Court of Judicature (Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation) (Amendment) Rules 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.
Miscellaneous amendments
2.  The Supreme Court of Judicature (Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation) Rules 2019 (G.N. No. S 665/2019) are amended —
(a)by deleting the words “High Court” in the following provision and substituting the words “General Division of the High Court”:
Rule 2(1) (definition of “Court”);
(b)by deleting the words “paragraph 1(j)” in the following provision and substituting the words “paragraph 3(m)”:
Rule 16;
(c)by deleting the words “the Court or” in the following provision:
Rule 16; and
(d)by deleting the words “HIGH COURT” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “GENERAL DIVISION OF THE HIGH COURT”:
First Schedule, Forms 1, 2 and 3.
