Bus Services Industry (Bus Service Licence)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Bus Services Industry Act 2015, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Bus Services Industry (Bus Service Licence) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 1 January 2021.

Deletion of regulation 6A

2. Regulation 6A of the Bus Services Industry (Bus Service Licence) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 33/2016) is deleted.

Amendment of First Schedule

3. The First Schedule to the Bus Services Industry (Bus Service Licence) Regulations 2016 is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (e) of item 2, the following paragraphs:

“(f)

2021

$90 for each month (or part of a month)

(g)

2022

$90 for each month (or part of a month)”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (e) of item 3, the following paragraphs:

“(f)

2021

$90 for each month (or part of a month)

(g)

2022

$90 for each month (or part of a month)”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (e) of item 4, the following paragraphs:

“(f)

2021

$90 for each month (or part of a month) in 2021 or $1,000, whichever is the lower

(g)

2022

$90 for each month (or part of a month) in 2022 or $1,000, whichever is the lower”.
