(Amendment) Rules 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Act, we, the 3 Judges of the Supreme Court mentioned in that section, make the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) (Amendment) Rules 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.

Amendment of rule 3

2. Rule 3 of the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting the words “High Court” and substituting the words “General Division of the High Court”.

Amendment of rule 6

3. Rule 6 of the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Rules is amended by deleting the word “Court” wherever it appears and substituting in each case the words “General Division of the High Court”.
