Road Traffic Act
(Chapter 276)
Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34D and 140(1) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Communications and Information Technology hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall, with the exception of rule 2(i), come into operation on 10th January 2000.
(2)  Rule 2(i) of the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2000 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 12th July 1999.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules (R 38) is amended —
(a)by deleting all the items under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” in Part I and substituting the following items:

1. East Coast Parkway
Between the slip road from Fort Road into the East Coast Parkway and the slip road from the East Coast Parkway into Rochor Road on the East Coast Parkway on the westbound carriageway.

On the slip road from Ophir Road into the East Coast Parkway on the westbound carriageway.

(b)by deleting all the items under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” in Part II and substituting the following items:

On the slip road from Balestier Road into the Central Expressway.
