Animals and Birds (Quarantine) (Amendment No.2) Rules 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 65 and 70 of the Animals and Birds Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Quarantine) (Amendment No.2) Rules 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1999.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Animals and Birds (Quarantine) Rules (R 6) is amended by deleting the words "$50 per animal or bird" in item (3) and substituting the words "$50 per permit".
