(Exemption) (No. 14)
Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 14) Notification 2015.

Definitions

2. In this Notification, unless the context otherwise requires —

“contest form” means a document conferring a right to participate in a draw;

“draw” means a draw to be held pursuant to the Promotion;

“Promotion” means the “Guess the Number of Plush Toys Contest” promotion to be held —

(a)	at the OCBC Centre from 9 March 2015 to 13 March 2015 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	at Orchard Gateway from 25 July 2015 to 7 August 2015 (both dates inclusive).

Exemption

3.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC) (called the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the Promotion;

(b)

the draws to be held at the OCBC Centre —

(i)	on 27 March 2015 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.; and
(ii)	on 24 August 2015 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
