Road Traffic (Traffic Signs)
(Amendment) Rules 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 119 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Amendment) Rules 2016 and come into operation on 21 March 2016.

Amendment of rule 8

2. Rule 8 of the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “8 p.m.” in paragraph (1A) and substituting the words “11 p.m.”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “Paragraph (1)” in paragraph (2) and substituting the words “Paragraphs (1) and (1A)”.

Amendment of Part III of Schedule

3. Part III of the Schedule to the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules is amended by deleting diagram 114(a) and substituting the following diagram:

“DIAGRAM 114A

FULL-DAY BUS LANE”.
