In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 8) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Joo Chiat Community Club Active Ageing Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Joo Chiat Active Agers’ Mind Game (Mahjong) Exchange 2013” to be held on 30th March 2013 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the multi‑purpose hall of Siglap South Community Club.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
