(Amendment) Rules 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(1) (definition of “relevant legal officer”) of the Legal Profession Act, the Minister for Law makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Legal Profession (Prescribed Statutory Bodies and Law Offices in Public Service) (Amendment) Rules 2015 and come into operation on 16 March 2015.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Legal Profession (Prescribed Statutory Bodies and Law Offices in Public Service) Rules (R 22) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (d); and

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (e) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(f)	the Public Utilities Board.”.
