| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2017 and come into operation on 1 April 2017. |
| Amendment of Second Schedule |
| 2. Item 6 of the Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules 2015 (G.N. No. S 226/2015) is amended by deleting the words “licensed under the Act as an ambulance, fire engine or marked police vehicle” in the first column and substituting the words “registered, licensed or otherwise approved for use in Singapore under the Act as an ambulance, a fire engine, a marked police vehicle or a motor vehicle operated by the Singapore Civil Defence Force for use in a civil defence emergency (as defined in section 2 of the Civil Defence Act (Cap. 42))”. |
