People’s Association Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(5)(b) of the People’s Association Act, the Board of Management of the People’s Association hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the People’s Association Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 7th January 2005.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the People’s Association Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 24, the following item:

“24A. Qigong Shi Ba Shi Association (Singapore)”;

(b)

by deleting items 29 and 33;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 39, the following item:

“39A. Singapore Dragon Boat Association”;

(d)

by deleting items 41, 47 and 54;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 65, the following item:

“65A. Singapore Swimming Association”;

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item 69, the following item:

“69A. Singapore Tennis Association”; and

(g)

by inserting, immediately after item 72, the following item:

“72A. Sports Boules Singapore”.
