Road Traffic (Registration of
Power‑Assisted Bicycles)
(Amendment) Rules 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Registration of Power‑Assisted Bicycles) (Amendment) Rules 2024 and are deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Road Traffic (Registration of Power‑Assisted Bicycles) Rules 2017 (G.N. No. S 451/2017), in the First Schedule —

(a)	in item 3, replace “$41.73” with “$42.51”;
(b)	in item 4, replace “$26.75” with “$27.25”;
(c)	in item 5, replace “$32.10” with “$32.70”; and
(d)	in item 6, replace “$47.08” with “$47.96”.
