Moneylenders (Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(3) of the Moneylenders Act, the Minister for Law makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Moneylenders (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 29 March 2019.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Moneylenders (Composition of Offences) Rules 2009 (G.N. No. S 74/2009) is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “24(5) or (6),” in paragraph (a), the words “24A(11) or (12), 24B(2), 24C(2),”.
