Tourist Promotion (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Tourist Promotion (Cess Collection) Act and by virtue of the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Trade and Industry) Notification 1995 and the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Trade and Industry) (No. 2) Notification 1995, the Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Tourist Promotion (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 1996 and shall come into operation on 29th March 1996.

2. The Schedule to the Tourist Promotion (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification is amended by inserting, immediately after item (82), the following item:

“(83) Four Chain Hotel.”.
