Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Forms)
(Amendment) Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 7th March 2014.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 811/2010) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Subordinate Courts” wherever they appear in the following Forms and substituting in each case the words “State Courts”:

Forms 1, 4, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 23, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 42, 65, 66, 67, 68, 70, 71 and 72;

(b)

by deleting the words “SUBORDINATE COURTS” in the heading of Form 43 and substituting the words “STATE COURTS”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “Subordinate Court” wherever they appear in the following Forms and substituting in each case the words “State Court”:

Forms 59, 60, 70, 71 and 72.
