(Exemption) (No. 2)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 2) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “RWS Festive Draws — Mega Fortune Prosperity Draw” promotion to be held from 10th January 2014 to 14th February 2014 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held as part of the “RWS Festive Draws — Mega Fortune Prosperity Draw” promotion at the Casino Royale Bar at Resorts World at Sentosa:

(i)	each day between 13th January 2014 and 17th January 2014 (both dates inclusive) at 3 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., respectively;
(ii)	each day between 20th January 2014 and 24th January 2014 (both dates inclusive) at 3 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., respectively;
(iii)	each day between 27th January 2014 and 29th January 2014 (both dates inclusive) at 3 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., respectively;
(iv)	on 30th January 2014 at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., respectively;
(v)	on 31st January 2014 at 1 a.m., 3 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., respectively;
(vi)	each day between 3rd February 2014 and 7th February 2014 (both dates inclusive) at 3 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., respectively;
(vii)	each day between 10th February 2014 and 13th February 2014 (both dates inclusive) at 3 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., respectively;
(viii)	on 14th February 2014 at 9.30 p.m.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
