Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 3)
Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 3) Notification 2015.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Chinese New Year Promotion — Fortune Numbers” promotion to be held from 21 January 2015 to 25 February 2015 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held at the Casino Royale Bar (Casino B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. as part of that promotion:

(i)	the “Sweepstake Draw” (Lucky Prize and Consolation Prize) to be held at 9 p.m. on 18 February 2015, 23 February 2015 and 24 February 2015, respectively;
(ii)	the “Sweepstake Draw” (Top 3 prizes) to be held at 1 a.m. on 19 February 2015, 24 February 2015 and 25 February 2015, respectively.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
